Russian and Chinese entrepreneurs are forging ahead with mutually beneficial cooperation, as highlighted by Vitaly Mankevich, president of the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RAUIE). In a recent interview with Xinhua, Mankevich emphasized the resilience of Russian-Chinese relations in the face of external challenges.

The trade turnover between Russia and China saw a significant increase of 26.3 percent over the past year, reaching a record high of 240.1 billion U.S. dollars. Mankevich praised the efforts of Russian authorities in bolstering trade and economic ties between the two countries, including measures to facilitate business interactions and market entry for entrepreneurs from both nations.

Furthermore, Mankevich highlighted the support provided to Russian and Chinese entrepreneurs in establishing and developing businesses, as well as the promising prospects for growth in Russian-Chinese trade. He underscored the importance of China’s initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative and advancements in scientific and technological progress, which are of great interest to Russia.

The focus on enhancing cooperation with China is evident in the implementation of large-scale projects in various sectors including automotive, infrastructure, agriculture, and manufacturing. Mankevich expressed optimism about the continued rapid development of Russian-Chinese relations in economics, trade, production, and investment, ultimately benefiting both countries and their people.
