A shocking incident unfolded at the Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, Australia, as a 15-year-old boy wearing a black hoodie was caught on camera stabbing TikTok-famous Australian bishop, Mar Mari Emmanuel. The assailant, whose identity has not been disclosed, was known to police but was not a regular attendee of the church.

Acting Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland revealed that the boy was apprehended by parishioners and taken to an undisclosed location. The teenager, who sustained severe hand injuries during the incident, has requested to speak to his parents, and authorities are working to facilitate that.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but reports suggest that the suspect mentioned Emmanuel’s involvement in his religion as a reason for the assault. The brutal scene escalated into chaos, with thousands rioting outside the church and demanding the suspect be brought out.

Emmanuel, along with Father Isaac Rayel and other congregants, was injured in the attack but is currently in stable condition at the hospital. Police had to deploy tear gas to disperse the rioting crowd and restore order in the area.

The disturbing video of the attack has sparked outrage and raised concerns about safety in places of worship. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident and monitor the situation closely. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
