Wawa Welcome America is back this summer with a bang! The highly anticipated festival announced Kesha and NE-YO as the headliners for the July 4th concert and fireworks, setting the stage for 16 days of family-friendly fun in Philly.

One of the standout events to look forward to is the annual Juneteenth block party outside the African American Museum in Philadelphia. This year, the focus is on music with Rhythms of Liberation: Juneteenth Block Party and Evening Conversation featuring performances by Kid ‘n Play, Rich Medina, Seraiah Nicole, and more. The event will also include face-painting, mini sports for kids, food trucks, and a vendor village showcasing small Black-owned businesses.

Another highlight is the Hispanic festival celebrating culture and heritage through food, dance, and music. This year, the festival will take place on the JFK Boulevard Bridge in Center City, featuring performances by Joseph Fonseca and Huey Dunbar.

And who can forget the free Wawa hoagie event in Old City, where 25,000 hoagies will be served alongside entertainment and free admission to the National Constitution Center.

Gospel on Independence will return to Independence Mall with a performance by Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Tamela Mann and the Welcome America Mass Choir.

Lastly, Grammy-winner LeAnn Rimes will join the U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers’ Chorus for a special performance of “America the Beautiful” on July 3rd.
