50 RTA Community-Based Initiatives in UAE Benefit Over 5.235 Million People in 2023

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made significant strides in community and volunteer initiatives, benefiting over 5.235 million individuals both locally and internationally in 2023. These initiatives, aligned with RTA’s strategic plan for 2024-2030, focused on promoting values such as tolerance, cooperation, and leadership.

Rashed Abdulkarim Al Mulla, Director of Marketing & Corporate Communication at RTA, highlighted some of the key initiatives that contributed to these efforts. The “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign, the “Kiswat Khair” initiative, and the “Modes of Good” project were among the notable programs that aimed to support those in need and promote tolerance within the community.

In addition to these initiatives, RTA also extended its support to students in various countries by providing school buses and classrooms. The authority’s commitment to fostering cooperation was further demonstrated through initiatives tailored for People of Determination, including support for sporting events and social awareness workshops.

Furthermore, RTA engaged over 1,200 volunteers in 21 volunteer initiatives throughout the year, contributing over 5,000 volunteering hours. These initiatives ranged from environmental campaigns like “Clean UAE” to cultural events such as the “Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.”
