65,000 books given to schools and libraries across the UAE by Dubai Eye 103.8

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has initiated a generous grant to distribute 65,000 books from the 33rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair to 220 schools across the UAE. This move aims to support school libraries in promoting a culture of reading among students and enriching their educational resources.

The books, purchased from 77 publishing houses that participated in the book fair, cover a wide range of titles and publications to enhance students’ knowledge and expand the schools’ literary collection. This initiative is part of a broader effort to encourage reading and preserve the Arabic language’s rich literary heritage.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of DCT Abu Dhabi, emphasized the importance of the Arabic language as a tool for critical thinking and unity.
