– Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
– Build, deploy, and maintain Native AWS infrastructure
– Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.

You will collaborate with other SDEs to design systems for Smart Home, and leverage the latest AWS technologies to build services to support them. You will functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions. We are a team of Software Developers that is part of the Smart Home group. We work together to hold a high quality bar for the Alexa Smart Home experience. We ask each other questions and value our different perspectives. We seek to continuously improve, and take action every sprint to improve. We operate as an autonomous and self organizing team.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
