In March, the state’s Film Commission awarded a $1 million tax credit to an independent film titled “California Convergence,” set to film entirely in San Diego. This move highlights the city’s efforts to attract TV, film, and commercial companies by promoting itself as a film-friendly destination.
It’s not just feature films and TV shows that are flocking to San Diego; popular reality shows like “90-Day Fiance,” “The Bachelorette,” and “Married at First Sight” have also chosen the city as a filming location.
