Anushka Sharma, the popular Bollywood actress, has returned to Mumbai with her newborn son Akaay after giving birth in London. The actress was spotted showing her son to the paparazzi but requested them not to click pictures of her kids.
Akaay was born to Anushka and Indian cricket star Virat Kohli on February 15, 2024. The couple took to social media to announce the arrival of their baby boy, expressing their happiness and seeking blessings from their fans.
Anushka and Virat, who got married in 2017, already have a daughter named Vamika, born in 2021. The family is now complete with the addition of baby Akaay.
While Anushka is gearing up for her upcoming project, a sports biopic film titled ‘Chakda Xpress’ based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, Virat is currently busy playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.
Virat has been in exceptional form in the IPL, scoring 361 runs in seven matches with an average of 72.20. He is currently the leading run-scorer in the tournament.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Chakda Xpress’ to see Anushka back on the screen. The final release date of the film is yet to be announced, but it is expected to stream exclusively on an OTT platform.
