Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood has teamed up with Turner Classic Movies (TCM) to introduce the new TCM Classic Films Tour, celebrating TCM’s 30th anniversary. The tour, which opened today, promises to take guests on a journey through the Golden Age of Hollywood, showcasing iconic movies featured on TCM and highlighting the Warner Bros. library.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the historic Warner Bros. Studio backlot, immersing themselves in the timeless allure of classic cinema and experiencing the magic of Hollywood’s rich history firsthand. The tour will feature new points of interest, including James Dean’s apartment, the rose garden that was once Jack Warner’s tennis court, and the Eastwood Scoring Stage.
Before embarking on the backlot tour, guests will be treated to a screening room experience, where they can view historical photographs and enjoy an introduction video from TCM hosts Ben Mankiewicz, Eddie Muller, Jacqueline Stewart, Alicia Malone, and Dave Karger. Throughout the tour, guests will ride in newly-themed TCM Classic Films Tour carts with expert guides, who will transport them into the heart of cinematic history and immerse them in iconic classics such as Casablanca, The Music Man, Blazing Saddles, and more.
The TCM Classic Films Tour lasts approximately three and a half hours and includes a visit to Stage 48: Script to Screen, where guests can explore iconic sets from TV shows like Friends and The Big Bang Theory. The tour concludes with Action and Magic Made Here, showcasing the DC Universe and Harry Potter series, as well as a Celebration of Warner Bros., featuring props and costumes from classic titles like Casablanca and My Fair Lady.
