AP Sources Confirm USA Basketball Completes Paris Olympics Roster with 12 Players

The USA Basketball team for the upcoming Paris Olympics is set to be a star-studded affair, with some of the biggest names in the NBA confirming their participation. LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant are just a few of the 12 players who have accepted invitations to be part of the Olympic roster.

The roster also includes Bam Adebayo, Devin Booker, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Tyrese Haliburton, Anthony Edwards, and Kawhi Leonard. Seven of these players are previous gold medalists, adding to the team’s impressive lineup.

Durant, who is aiming to become the first men’s player in Olympic history with four basketball gold medals, has been vocal about his intention to play. James, who has won three Olympic medals in the past, will be seeking his fourth in Paris.

Curry, who will be making his Olympic debut, joins Embiid as first-time Olympians on the roster. The team will be coached by Steve Kerr, with assistance from Erik Spoelstra, Tyronn Lue, and Mark Few.

The U.S. men’s basketball team has a rich history at the Olympics, having won a total of 16 gold medals in 19 appearances. With such a talented roster assembled for the Paris Games, expectations are high for another successful campaign for Team USA.
