Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has taken swift action in response to the recent heavy rains that have affected Emirati citizens in Dubai. In a meeting with heads of government entities, Sheikh Hamdan approved a series of initiatives to mitigate the impact of the severe weather.

One of the key decisions made by the Crown Prince was the establishment of a committee to urgently review all requests from Emirati citizens affected by the heavy rains. This committee will prioritize the repair and rehabilitation of homes belonging to those affected by the extreme weather conditions.

Additionally, Sheikh Hamdan directed the Dubai Land Department and the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) to work with property developers to expedite the restoration of normalcy in affected communities. Services such as alternative housing, food distribution, pest control, enhanced security, and assistance with returning to residential properties will be provided at no additional cost to residents.

Furthermore, a new committee chaired by Omar Bushahab, CEO of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment, has been formed to support affected individuals. This committee includes representatives from various government entities and will ensure that requests from citizens impacted by the heavy rains are promptly addressed.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of providing immediate support to those affected by the adverse weather conditions and stated that the well-being of citizens remains a top priority for the Dubai government. He also called for collaboration with the private sector and hotels to provide temporary accommodation for affected citizens until their homes are repaired.

Overall, Sheikh Hamdan’s proactive approach and commitment to supporting those in need during this challenging time demonstrate the leadership and compassion of the Dubai government.
