ABC News’ World News Tonight with David Muir continues to dominate the evening newscast ratings, maintaining its position as the most-watched newscast for the week of March 25, 2024. With 7.822 million total viewers and 1.059 million viewers in the key Adults 25-54 demo, WNT saw a 4% increase in total viewers and a 6% increase in the demo from the previous week.

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt also saw growth, with 6.621 million total viewers and 923,000 viewers in the A25-54 demo. Nightly News experienced a 7% increase in total viewers and a strong 14% increase in the demo compared to the previous week.

CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell averaged 4.906 million total viewers and 715,000 viewers in the demo, showing a 5% increase in total viewers and a 1% increase in the demo from the previous week.

Looking at the quarterly ratings, ABC’s World News Tonight maintained its lead as the highest-rated newscast during the first quarter of 2024, with 8.120 million total viewers and 1.133 million viewers in the A25-54 demo. NBC Nightly News and CBS Evening News also saw increases in total viewers and the demo, but both newscasts were down compared to the year-ago quarter.
