Top High Schools in Jacksonville Area for 2024 as Ranked by U.S. News & World Report – Action News Jax

Several Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia high schools have been recognized in the latest ranking of the best high schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The publication’s “2024 Best High Schools” ranking includes data on 25,000 public high schools across the United States.

Among the top-ranked schools in the greater Jacksonville area is Stanton College Preparatory School, which was ranked No. 5 in Florida and 55th nationally. Other Northeast Florida schools that made it to the top 100 in Florida include Paxon School for Advanced Studies, Darnell Cookman Middle/High School, Ponte Vedra High School, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Samuel W. Wolfson High School, Creekside High School, Allen D. Nease High School, Fleming Island High School, Bartram Trail High School, River City Science Academy, Belmont Academy, and Q.I. Roberts Jr. – Sr. High School.

In Southeast Georgia, Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Camden County High School, and Ware County High School were among the top 100 schools in the state.

The top high school in the country, according to the ranking, is BASIS Peoria in Arizona. Other top schools include Signature School in Illinois, Tesla STEM High School in Washington, Julia R. Masterman Secondary School in Pennsylvania, and Payton College Preparatory High School in Illinois.
