In game one, the Broncos took an early lead when senior Ethan Ives scored on a flyball by Ben Shiverski. Despite a tying run from Masin Tryan of Manistique, the Broncos regained the lead with Shiverski’s RBI single, ultimately winning 4-1.
Game two was a back-and-forth battle, with the Broncos striking first as Dominick Lantagne’s single allowed freshman Gabe Spear to score. Manistique fought back to tie the game, but the Broncos pulled ahead again with key hits from Charlie Guenette and Ethan Ives. The Emeralds managed to tie the game once more in the sixth inning, setting the stage for a dramatic finish.
In the bottom of the seventh, junior Lucas Hall delivered a walk-off single to secure a 5-4 victory for Bark River-Harris. The team’s resilience and clutch performances were on full display, showcasing their determination and skill on the field.
