Hyatt’s Collaboration with Mr & Mrs Smith Launches, Offering Over 700 Luxury Hotels

Hyatt’s World of Hyatt loyalty program is stepping up its game with the integration of more than 700 Mr & Mrs Smith hotels into its network. This move comes after Hyatt lost partnerships with Small Luxury Hotels of the World and MGM Resorts to competitors like Hilton and Marriott.

The addition of Mr & Mrs Smith hotels brings a new level of luxury and boutique accommodations to World of Hyatt members, expanding the program’s global footprint to include countries like Namibia, Fiji, and the British Virgin Islands. From secluded treehouses in the Arctic Circle to jungle villas overlooking the Pacific waters, the partnership offers unique and exclusive travel experiences.

While some hotels partnered with Hyatt through Small Luxury Hotels of the World will transition to Mr & Mrs Smith, not all properties will join the network. Reasons for exclusion range from technological limitations to brand conflicts with other loyalty programs.

World of Hyatt members can now earn and redeem points at participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, with benefits including free night awards, bonus points, and waived resort fees. While breakfast may not be included for all elite members, upgrades and special amenities like welcome cocktails and late checkout are part of the experience.

Hyatt’s acquisition of Mr & Mrs Smith demonstrates the brand’s commitment to enhancing guest experiences and rewarding loyal members. With more high-end properties expected to join the network in the future, World of Hyatt continues to solidify its position as a top player in the hotel loyalty landscape.
