Mayank Yadav’s return to the Lucknow Super Giants team was short-lived as the young fast bowler had to leave the field due to abdominal soreness after bowling just one ball in his third over. This setback came after Mayank had impressed with his pace and accuracy in his first three matches of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL).
LSG head coach Justin Langer expressed concern that Mayank may have aggravated the same injury that had sidelined him previously. Despite the setback, LSG managed to secure a four-wicket victory against the Mumbai Indians.
