Williamstown girls and Doddridge boys win LKC track titles

The Little Kanawha Conference track and field championships at Williamstown High School showcased some impressive performances despite the rainy conditions. The hosting Yellowjackets dominated the girls events, with Alyssa Sauro leading the charge by winning multiple individual races and relays. Sauro’s stellar performances earned her the high-point award for the girls.

On the boys side, Doddridge County emerged victorious, with Sage Landis putting on a show by winning multiple events, including the long jump, pole vault, and 400 meter dash. Landis’ outstanding performance earned him the high-point award for the boys.

Other standout performances included Wyatt Milhoan of Ravenswood winning both the 100 and 200 meter dashes, and Roane County’s Joscelyn Cox and Lane Watson taking home titles in the 300 meter hurdles.
