Emma Bunch, a sophomore from Lynge, Denmark, is gearing up to represent the Aggies at the NCAA Cle Elum Women’s Golf Regional after an impressive spring season. Bunch secured her spot in the field as an individual after clinching the Conference USA individual title two weeks ago.
The three-day event will kick off on Monday morning at Tumble Creek Club in Cle Elum, Washington. Bunch will tee off alongside South Florida’s Riana Mission and Nebraska’s Kelli Ann Strand at 11:50 MT.
Competing against powerhouse teams like Stanford, Duke, and Arizona State, Bunch will look to continue her winning streak after claiming her fifth consecutive victory at the Conference USA Championships. She finished as the low individual with scores of 68-70-71-209 (-7), winning the event by one stroke.
The Tumble Creek Club at Suncadia Resort, designed by minimalist Tom Doak, will provide a challenging backdrop for the tournament. The course, known for its natural beauty and strategic design, will test Bunch and the other competitors throughout the regional event.
