Jordan successfully concluded its participation in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition in Dubai, showcasing the country’s diverse tourism offerings and forging partnerships with key industry players.

The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) led the delegation, which included 10 tourism companies, hotels, and representatives from the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority and Royal Jordanian Airlines. JTB Managing Director, Abdelrazzaq Arabiyat, emphasized the importance of ATM as a platform for enhancing the travel and tourism sector in the region.

The focus of Jordan’s participation was on establishing collaborations with international tourism sectors, particularly global airlines, Gulf-based travel agencies, and hotels. Efforts were also directed towards promoting Jordan as a premier tourist destination, with a specific emphasis on attracting visitors from the Gulf region.

Discussions at the exhibition highlighted the variety of tourism experiences available in Jordan, including medical, cultural, historical, and adventure tourism. The delegation also explored marketing strategies to position Jordan as an attractive destination for family tourism from the Gulf.

Meetings with Arab and foreign media outlets provided an opportunity to further discuss Jordan’s tourism marketing initiatives and showcase the country’s unique offerings. The exhibition, known for its significant media presence and ability to attract industry experts and clients from the MICE sector, served as an ideal platform for networking and addressing industry challenges.

Overall, Jordan’s participation in ATM was a success, with the country’s presence helping to raise awareness of its tourism potential and strengthen partnerships within the travel industry.
