With a 16-4 record heading into a doubleheader against Marquette, Boutilier is making her mark both on and off the field.

In a recent interview with Daily Press sports editor “The Big Dog,” Boutilier shared her thoughts on her senior year and plans for the future. When asked about her favorite part of senior year, Boutilier mentioned the team bonding and the overall fun she’s had. She also revealed her post-high school plans, which include attending Bay College for a fifth year before transferring to Northern Michigan University for Elementary Education.

Despite her success on the softball field, Boutilier admitted that she’s not a football fan and plans to stay in the Green Bay area after college. When asked about what she’ll miss most about high school, Boutilier mentioned the friendships and good times she’s had.

As the softball season winds down, Boutilier is focused on giving her all to ensure the team finishes strong. She credits teammate Harlee Coolman as the energetic leader in the dugout and expressed gratitude for her family, coaches, and friends.
