As summer break approaches, parents may be concerned about their teenagers spending too much time lounging on the couch watching YouTube videos. However, Planet Fitness is offering a solution to keep teens active and healthy during the summer months with their High School Summer Pass program.

This free program allows teenagers between the ages of 14-19 to work out at any of Planet Fitness’ more than 2,400 gyms across the United States and Canada. The program runs from June 1 to August 31, giving teens plenty of time to stay active and fit over the summer break.

Parents can easily sign their teens up for the program online or in person at any Planet Fitness location. Teens under the age of 18 will need a parent to sign a waiver for them to participate. Once signed up, teens can work out independently at the gym.

In addition to access to the gym facilities, participants will also have the opportunity to join free fitness classes offered through the Planet Fitness PE@PF program. Parents who are Planet Fitness members can also work out with their teens, but the free program is exclusively for teenagers.

To participate in the program, Planet Fitness recommends downloading their app and creating an account with the same email used to sign up for the High School Summer Pass. This will allow the pass to automatically link to the account on June 1.

With locations across Indianapolis and beyond, teens have no excuse not to stay active and healthy this summer with Planet Fitness’ free High School Summer Pass program.
