Jamie Chadwick, the British racing driver, has secured pole position for the upcoming Indy NXT race at Road America. This achievement marks her first pole position in the Indy NXT series, making her only the third woman to accomplish this feat.

Chadwick’s success comes on the heels of her historic podium finish at Indianapolis in May, where she clinched third place. The 26-year-old driver is now aiming to claim the top spot on the podium in the upcoming 20-lap race at Road America, scheduled to start at 6.05 pm on Sunday and broadcast live on Sky Sports Mix.

Reflecting on her pole position, Chadwick expressed her happiness and confidence in her team’s performance. Despite facing challenges in finding the right balance, she believes they have a strong car for the race.

In addition to her racing achievements, Chadwick has been actively working to promote female participation in motorsport. Earlier this year, she launched an initiative in partnership with Daytona Motorsport to provide free karting and mentorship for girls, aiming to increase diversity in grassroots motorsport.

As the most decorated active female motorsport driver in the UK, Chadwick’s success in the W Series and her transition to the competitive Indy NXT series have solidified her reputation in the racing world. She is also part of the Williams F1 team’s driver academy and is mentoring their F1 representative Lia Block this season.

Fans can catch the exciting Indy NXT race at Road America on Sky Sports Mix, with the IndyCar race following at 8.30 pm on the same channel. Chadwick’s pole position has set the stage for an exhilarating race, as she aims to continue her impressive performance on the track.
