An 80-member Business and Trade Delegation from Pakistan has landed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, eager to explore new business opportunities in the country. The delegation, led by Special Envoy and Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan Jemal Beker Abdula, was warmly welcomed upon arrival at the Bole International Airport.
This marks the second Business and Trade Delegation organized by the Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad within a short period of time, showcasing the growing interest in strengthening economic ties between the two nations. The delegation consists of prominent industrialists and investors from various sectors including agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, mining, ICT, and more.
During their five-day stay in Addis Ababa, the Pakistani delegation will participate in the 6th International Manufacturing Trade Fair, Ethio-Pakistan Business Forum, B2B and B2G meetings, as well as visits to industrial parks and cultural events. The main goal of the delegation is to highlight the vast business, trade, and investment opportunities available in Ethiopia and foster stronger ties between the business communities of both countries.
The Ethiopian Ambassador to Pakistan, Jemal Beker Abdula, played a key role in mobilizing the delegation by personally visiting Business Chambers and Trade Associations across major cities in Pakistan.
