Abu Dhabi hosts the launch of the Second Industrialists Career Exhibition – Business, Economy, and Finance event

The second edition of the Industrialists Career Exhibition kicked off today with a grand opening ceremony attended by top officials including Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Ghanam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis), and Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.

Running from 21st to 23rd April, the exhibition aims to empower Emirati talent by providing over 800 job opportunities from 80 industrial, technological, and service companies, along with training opportunities at leading training centers. Notably, this year’s edition also focuses on creating 150 jobs for people of determination.

The event aligns with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, Operation 300bn, and the National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme to enhance the role of the private sector and national talent in the UAE’s economic growth. Al Suwaidi emphasized the ministry’s commitment to upskilling Emirati talents and providing them with quality job opportunities to contribute to the national economy.

Ghannam Al Mazrouei highlighted the success of the first edition in providing job and training opportunities for Emirati youth, emphasizing the importance of such exhibitions in promoting Emiratization and economic sustainability. ADNOC Executive Director, Yaser Saeed Al Mazrouei, reiterated ADNOC’s dedication to Emiratization and sustainable employment opportunities for UAE nationals.

The exhibition builds on the success of its first edition in 2023, where it provided over 500 jobs to Emiratis. With a focus on empowering local talent and promoting economic growth, the Industrialists Career Exhibition serves as a platform for collaboration between the public and private sectors to enhance Emiratization and economic sustainability in the country.
