The Virginia-based acac Fitness & Wellness Centers has expanded its reach with the acquisition of La Maison Health & Fitness in Philadelphia. This move brings the total number of acac locations to 14 across Virginia, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.
acac CEO Chris Craytor expressed excitement about becoming a part of the Main Line community and outlined plans to enhance the member experience with new equipment, system upgrades, and cosmetic improvements. Current La Maison members will have the opportunity to upgrade their memberships and access other acac facilities in the area.
Stephanie Sposato, president of La Maison, reassured members that the 40-year legacy of the fitness club will continue under acac’s ownership. She highlighted the seamless transition for staff and emphasized acac’s commitment to maintaining the family-oriented atmosphere of the gym.
Both acac and La Maison offer a wide range of health and wellness services, including fitness classes, personal training, nutrition coaching, and physical therapy. The acquisition will also bring medical wellness programming to the former La Maison location.
Overall, the acquisition represents a strategic growth opportunity for acac and a positive development for the Main Line fitness community. Members can look forward to an enhanced experience with the combined resources and expertise of both organizations.
