Acharya Krishnam praises PM Modi for showcasing India’s story to the world at the first Hindu temple in UAE

Expelled Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam has come out in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in spreading the word on India’s growing global profile and prestige. In a self-made video shared on Wednesday, Acharya Krishnam expressed his awe at the construction of the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, calling it “nothing less than a miracle.”

The BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi earlier this year on February 14. Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence for the UAE, Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, was also present at the inauguration ceremony.

In the video, Acharya Krishnam shared his experience of having a ‘darshan’ at the temple, which he described as a sprawling marvel in an Islamic country like the UAE. He commended PM Modi for his efforts in showcasing India’s global prestige and position not only within the country but across the world.

“Today, the entire world is looking at India. Our country has had several prime ministers since independence, but seldom did any make us proud to be Indians like PM Modi has. Despite facing abuses and conspiracies from opposition leaders, PM Modi continues to elevate India’s stature on the global stage,” Acharya Krishnam stated in the video.

The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi is the first traditional Hindu stone temple in the Middle East, symbolizing the enduring friendship between India and the UAE. Built on 27 acres of land gifted by the UAE leadership, the temple stands at 108 feet tall, showcasing not only spiritual devotion but also remarkable engineering and craftsmanship.

The temple embodies the spirit of cultural inclusivity, interfaith harmony, and community collaboration, serving as a testament to the strong bond between India and the UAE.
