Actor Nick Pasqual was charged with attempted murder on Wednesday, May 29, after allegedly stabbing his estranged girlfriend Allie Shehorn on May 23. The actor, known for his roles in “Rebel Moon” and “Poor Paul,” was arrested and charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child’s parent.

Shehorn, a Hollywood makeup artist with credits in “Mean Girls” and “Babylon,” had recently filed a restraining order against Pasqual. The incident occurred at her Los Angeles home, where Pasqual allegedly broke in and stabbed her multiple times with a knife. He then fled the scene but was later detained at a U.S./Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office stated that Pasqual will be transported to Los Angeles County to face charges for the crime. The LAPD is still investigating the case.

District Attorney George Gascón expressed sympathy for the victim and emphasized the importance of holding individuals accountable for domestic violence. Shehorn underwent multiple surgeries for her injuries and is now on the road to recovery.

Friends of Shehorn have set up a GoFundMe page to support her during this difficult time. The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of domestic violence and the importance of seeking help if needed.
