Addie Lind, the undefeated tennis player, is proud to represent Warsaw – InkFreeNews.com

Warsaw High School junior Addie Lind has had an outstanding tennis season, going undefeated at No. 1 singles and capturing a sectional title. Lind, the youngest of four siblings, credits her success to her mother, Stacy Lind, who is also her high school coach.

“I’ve had some great competition. All these girls I’m playing against are really good. A lot of them are also good friends of mine. I’ve known these girls for multiple years and have been playing against them for multiple years,” Lind said.

Lind’s dedication to the sport is evident as she practices two to three hours a day, even in the offseason. Her hard work has paid off, with a perfect 20-0 record through the regular season and a memorable win against Penn that pushed the Tigers to a team victory.

Looking ahead, Lind has her sights set on playing tennis in college and will participate in summer tournaments to boost her recruitment. With one more season at Warsaw remaining, Lind is grateful for the support she has received from the community.

“I think they are very supportive. I can feel the support from them for our team. It feels good knowing the community has my back,” Lind said. “I feel very prideful that I am able to represent the Warsaw community in such a good way.”

Lind’s success on the court, combined with her work ethic and determination, make her a standout athlete to watch in the upcoming seasons.
