Adriyan Rae, known for her roles in Paramount+ version of The Game and SYFY’s Vagrant Queen, has joined the cast of Netflix’s upcoming series ‘Forever’. The show, created by Mara Brock Akil, is a reimagining of Judy Blume’s 1975 novel that explores the epic love story of two black youths in 2018 Los Angeles.

Rae will play the role of Brittany, one of Keisha’s older cousins, described as a social climber with a sarcastic sense of humor and a blunt, direct attitude. She is a loyal support system for Keisha and her mother, bringing a sense of fun wherever she goes.

Regina King, an Oscar-winner for ‘One Night in Miami’, will serve as executive producer and direct the first episode of the series. Lovie Simone will play Keisha Clarke, while Michael Cooper Jr will depict Justin Edwards. Karen Pittman and Wood Harris complete the cast.

Rae’s impressive resume includes appearances in NBC’s Chicago Fire, Hulu’s Light As A Feather, and guest roles on shows like FX’s Atlanta and BET’s American Soul. She has also starred in films like Sony’s Superfly and Netflix’s Burning Sands.

With a talented cast and a compelling storyline, ‘Forever’ promises to be a must-watch series for fans of romantic dramas. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
