Aer Lingus to Launch New Nonstop Route from Dublin to Las Vegas
Aer Lingus, the Irish flag carrier, is gearing up to introduce its latest U.S. route this fall. The airline announced on Tuesday that it will be offering new nonstop service from Dublin to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas.
The new route will be seasonal, with Aer Lingus operating three flights per week between the two destinations. Tickets for this exciting new route are now available for purchase.
According to Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the direct service from Dublin to Las Vegas comes in response to the growing number of visitors from Ireland. In 2023 alone, the city welcomed 52,000 visitors from the Emerald Isle.
Hill expressed his enthusiasm for the new route, stating that it will undoubtedly inspire Irish travelers and visitors from across Europe to explore all that Las Vegas has to offer.
Aer Lingus will kick off its nonstop service between Dublin and Las Vegas on October 25. The winter seasonal route will operate until April 29, 2025, with the airline utilizing its wide-body Airbus A330-300 for the flights.
The flight schedule for the route will see departures from Las Vegas at 7:35 p.m. and arrivals in Dublin at 1:10 p.m. the following day. The return leg will depart Dublin at 3:20 p.m. and arrive in Las Vegas at 5:10 p.m.
With the addition of Las Vegas to its route map, Aer Lingus will now serve a total of 14 U.S. cities this winter, including three on the West Coast. The airline will also operate four additional routes to the U.S. East Coast from Shannon, Ireland, and Manchester, England.
For travelers looking to book a flight on Aer Lingus using points or miles, there are various options available, including transferring points from American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, or Bilt Rewards to the airline’s AerClub loyalty program. Additionally, points can be transferred from other major loyalty programs to Aer Lingus AerClub via airlines like British Airways, Iberia, or Qatar Airways.
Overall, the launch of this new route is set to provide travelers with more convenient and exciting options for exploring both Dublin and Las Vegas.
