Texas A&M women’s tennis team made history on Friday with a stunning 4-1 victory over defending national champions North Carolina in the NCAA tournament super regionals. The 13th-seeded Aggies (25-7) started strong by winning the doubles point, with Mary Stoiana and Mia Kupres defeating the sixth-ranked duo of Fiona Crawley and Carson Tanguilig. In singles, A&M’s top three lines secured the victory with Carson Branstine, Nicole Khirin, and Stoiana all claiming crucial wins.
