The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) has announced the school alignments for spring sports for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. The alignments include baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, golf, and outdoor track.

The AHSAA Central Board of Control approved the alignments at a special virtual meeting on May 23. The alignments are based on the number of schools participating in each sport and the reclassification of schools for the upcoming years.

Schools in various counties have been assigned opponents for the upcoming seasons. For example, Andalusia High School will compete in baseball and softball against Charles Henderson and Greenville in the 5A Area 3. In tennis, they will face off against schools like Brewbaker Tech and Carroll in the 4A-5A Section 2.

Other schools like Florala, Opp, Pleasant Home, Red Level, and Straughn also have their respective opponents and alignments for the upcoming seasons.

The full list of sports alignments for the next two years can be accessed on the AHSAA website. This announcement sets the stage for exciting competitions and rivalries in the world of high school sports in Alabama. Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming spring sports seasons.
