Sber Launches International AI Challenge for Youth

Sber has announced the launch of the international artificial intelligence competition for youth, AI Challenge, in collaboration with the Alliance in the field of artificial intelligence. This exciting competition provides young participants from Russia and beyond with the opportunity to explore the world of science and technology while enhancing their skills in artificial intelligence. Registration for the event is open until September 15th.

The competition features challenges designed to simulate real-world problems faced by technology businesses, offering participants a chance to test their AI knowledge and abilities. With four stages including qualifying, main, semi-final, and final, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for a prize fund of over $150,000.

Alexander Vedyakhin, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board at Sberbank, emphasized the importance of creativity in AI development and encouraged participants to explore unconventional technological projects. The competition also offers educational programs, including seminars with experts and collections of materials on artificial intelligence, to support participants on their journey.

Last year’s competition saw participants from 47 countries contribute over 2,300 solutions, showcasing remarkable talent and innovative AI applications. From disease diagnosis models to plant growth environments, the competition highlighted the diverse applications of AI technology.
