Air ambulance carrying victim crash lands moments after takeoff

An air ambulance carrying a patient who had suffered a heart attack crash-landed seconds after takeoff in Kazakhstan, flipping over when it hit a pond of water from melted snow. The harrowing footage captured the aircraft coming to a rest upside down in shallow water, with the patient, two medics, and two crew members evacuated from the scene.

Despite the terrifying crash, miraculously, no one was seriously injured in the incident involving an An-2 plane of Navigator Airlines. Three ambulances were called to the scene to transport those who needed treatment to the hospital.

The crash was attributed to gusty winds causing a sharp decrease in altitude during takeoff. An official statement confirmed that the patient was later transported to the hospital without injuries and in stable condition, continuing treatment there.

A commission has been established to investigate the accident, ensuring that all factors contributing to the crash are thoroughly examined. The crew, patient, and air ambulance team were taken to the emergency room for examination, with none of them requiring hospitalization.
