Airtel and Google collaborate to provide cloud and genAI solutions to Indian businesses

Airtel, India’s second-largest telecom operator, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Google Cloud to revolutionize the cloud and generative AI landscape for Indian businesses. This collaboration aims to leverage Airtel’s extensive customer base, which includes 2,000 large enterprises and a million emerging businesses, to offer cutting-edge AI solutions.

The partnership will see Airtel and Google Cloud providing businesses with a range of innovative products, including geospatial analytics, location intelligence, predictive capabilities, market assessment, and voice analytics for conversational applications. Additionally, the companies will offer marketing technology to forecast consumer behavior and streamline content creation with contextual ads.

With tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon increasingly targeting the telecommunications industry to harness the vast data generated by billions of customers worldwide, this partnership between Airtel and Google Cloud marks a significant development in the sector.
