Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Shines at Cannes 2024 in Elegant Black Gown by Falguni and Shane Peacock
Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stole the show at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet as she graced the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis” in a breathtaking black gown designed by Falguni & Shane Peacock. A regular attendee at the prestigious festival for the past two decades, Aishwarya exuded elegance in the custom-made creation that featured 3D metallic elements and golden accents, accentuating her corset-inspired silhouette and floor-sweeping train.
Despite sporting a cast on her right hand due to an undisclosed injury, the 50-year-old Bollywood icon radiated glamour and grace as she walked the red carpet alongside Hollywood legend Coppola and actor Adam Driver, who stars in the movie. Aishwarya was accompanied by her daughter, Aaradhya, who has also become a familiar face at the festival in recent years.
Apart from Aishwarya, several other Indian celebrities like Kiara Advani, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Aditi Rao Hydari are expected to make stunning appearances at Cannes in the coming days. The festival will also showcase Indian films, including Payal Kapadia’s “All We Imagine As Light” competing for the prestigious Palme d’Or award.
