Reading Time: < 1 minute

In a thrilling Saudi Pro League match, Marcelo Brozovic shone as Al Nassr narrowly defeated Al Akhdoud 3-2 at the Prince Hathloul bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium. The game saw Cristiano Ronaldo adding to his impressive goal tally with his 33rd goal of the season.

Al Nassr started the game strong, with Brozovic opening the scoring in the 7th minute after a deflected cross found its way to him. Ronaldo doubled the lead soon after, courtesy of a well-executed play from Ali Al Hassan. The match seemed to be going smoothly for Al Nassr until Al Akhdoud mounted a comeback in the second half, scoring two quick goals to level the playing field.

However, Brozovic had the final say as he netted his second goal of the game in the dying minutes, securing the win for Al Nassr. The victory keeps them in contention for the league title, although they currently trail behind Al Hilal by nine points.

With Al Hilal having the chance to secure their 19th Saudi Pro League title in their upcoming match, the pressure is on for Al Nassr to keep their title hopes alive. Their upcoming clash against Al Hilal on May 17 promises to be a crucial fixture in the race for the championship. Fans can expect an intense battle between the two top teams as they vie for supremacy in the Saudi Pro League.
