LaGrange Academy’s Alex Jarvholm is making waves on both the tennis court and the basketball court, showcasing his talent and versatility as a two-sport star for the Warriors. The sophomore had a breakout season on the tennis courts, winning the individual region title and making it to the state semifinals. Despite the pressure, Jarvholm remained calm and focused, setting his sights on a state championship next season.
Jarvholm’s journey to success was not without challenges. When the team’s no. 1 singles player was sidelined with an injury, Jarvholm stepped up to fill the void and lead the team to the state quarterfinals. His increased level of competition on the tennis court only fueled his determination to excel.
While tennis is a passion for Jarvholm, basketball holds a special place in his heart. With a year-round commitment to the sport, he splits his time between playing for the Warriors and his travel ball team. Despite the struggles of the LaGrange Academy boys basketball team, winning just one game in the previous season, Jarvholm remains dedicated to improving and making an impact in his final two years at the school.
Jarvholm’s dedication to both sports and his ability to handle the highs and lows of competition make him a standout athlete at LaGrange Academy. As he continues to strive for excellence on the courts, his passion and work ethic set him apart as a true two-sport star for the Warriors.
