Elvis Presley’s iconic Memphis, Tennessee home, Graceland, was saved from foreclosure thanks to his granddaughter, actress Riley Keough. The Daisy Jones & the Six star, 34, took swift action by filing a civil lawsuit against Naussany Investments & Private Lending to block the auction of the property. As a result, Graceland’s foreclosure has been halted until further notice.

Riley has been the sole trustee of Graceland since her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away in January 2023. She called the auctioning of the property by Naussany Investments & Private Lending “fraudulent” in her lawsuit, stating that her mother never borrowed money from them or gave them a deed of trust.

In her legal battle, Riley claimed that her mother’s signature was forged on the loan documents and that the notary listed as a witness never met Lisa Marie. Elvis Presley Enterprises supported Riley’s claims, with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, calling the situation a “scam.”

This is not the first time Riley and Priscilla have been involved in legal matters regarding the Graceland estate. In mid-2023, they settled a legal challenge over Lisa Marie’s trust, with Riley being declared the sole trustee. Riley defended her grandmother, stating that Priscilla is dedicated to protecting her grandfather’s legacy and the Presley family.
