Amazon’s MGM+ Strikes Deal to Offer Lionsgate and Starz Programming in the U.K.

In an exciting development for TV fans in the U.K., Amazon’s MGM+ has announced a strategic deal to bring Lionsgate and Starz programming to its platform. This partnership will include popular shows like “Outlander” and many more hit series and movies.

The MGM-branded service will now offer content from Lionsgate and Starz in the U.K., expanding its library for customers. This deal marks the third content agreement between MGM+ and Lionsgate, following previous deals for Europe and Latin America.

Subscribers of Lionsgate+ who access the service through Prime Video Channels in the U.K. will soon have access to the MGM programming service starting in April. The MGM service will be rebranded to MGM+ in May to align with recent changes in other regions, making it available in 31 countries globally.

Some of the exclusive content that will be available on MGM+ in the U.K. includes popular series like “Outlander,” “Power Book I-IV,” “BMF,” and more. Additionally, legacy hit series like “The Great,” “Mad Men,” and blockbuster movies such as “American Psycho” and “Saw” will also be part of the lineup.

Amazon’s commitment to expanding the MGM+ channel internationally is evident in this move, as they aim to enhance the content offering for subscribers. With the addition of Lionsgate and Starz content, MGM+ viewers in the U.K. will now have access to a wide range of beloved films and TV series.
