Ambassador Group Teams Up with Singapore Investors for Glasgow Student Development

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Ambassador Group, a Glasgow-based developer, has teamed up with Singapore-based investors Far East Orchard and Woh Hup to bring a cutting-edge student accommodation scheme to life. The project, set to be completed by 2026, will mark a significant milestone in the Group’s Nova Living concept, which focuses on creating purpose-built student accommodation.

The development will be located in Glasgow’s Merchant City, on the corner of Osborne Street and Old Wynd. It will offer 273 high-quality student beds in a community-focused environment, complete with top-notch amenities such as a student lounge, gymnasium, and a spacious terrace with stunning views of the River Clyde.

This collaboration between Ambassador Group and the Singaporean investors is part of a new PBSA strategy within Nova Living, aiming to address the increasing demand for quality student housing in the UK’s university cities. The goal is to set a new standard for thoughtful, quality living in urban environments.

Ahsan Afzal, Head of Development for Ambassador’s Nova Living, expressed his excitement about the partnership with Far East Orchard and Woh Hup, stating, “Our shared values in the sector have driven the relationship from the outset, and we look forward to embarking on this exciting journey with our new global partners. We are entirely committed to delivering sustainable living solutions that prioritize the well-being and connectivity of residents.”

With a shortage of 22,000 student beds in the market, this development is poised to make a significant impact on the student housing landscape in Glasgow. Stay tuned for more updates on this innovative project as it progresses towards completion.
