Ambassador Line-up for World Vision’s 40 Hour Challenge Revealed

World Vision’s 40 Hour Challenge is back, and this year it has some big names backing it up. Athlete Caleb Clarke, TikTok content creators Win Wolf, Judah Metu-Teaukura, and Liv Martin, actor Kimberley Crossman, singer/songwriter Paige Tapara, and climate advocate Brianna Fruean are all on board to inspire young people to take on challenges to raise funds for the climate crisis.

The focus of this year’s challenge is to partner with communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis to help restore forests quickly. TikTok content creator Win Wolf, who traveled to Timor-Leste to see World Vision’s regreening approach, believes that the Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration technique will be a game-changer for the children of Timor-Leste who have lost 90 percent of their original forests.

The impact of the climate crisis on vulnerable communities is evident, and World Vision is working to build resilience through disaster preparedness, planning, and improving food and water security measures. The organization is also focusing on environment-enhancing activities like reforestation and conservation farming.

To raise awareness and funds for this cause, the ambassadors collaborated on climate-friendly challenges like planting a herb garden and upcycling clothing. These challenges will culminate in the World Vision 40 Hour Challenge weekend, where young people can choose a challenge that is fun and impactful in fighting the impacts of climate change.

Climate activist Brianna Fruean emphasizes the importance of addressing the emotional and mental toll of the climate crisis on vulnerable communities. She encourages young people to join the challenge and become change agents in the fight against climate change.
