Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured a spot in the IPL 2024 playoffs with a resounding victory over Chennai Super Kings. The match saw RCB emerge victorious by 27 runs, sparking wild celebrations among the players and fans. However, former India cricketer Ambati Rayudu couldn’t resist taking a playful dig at RCB’s exuberant celebrations.

“RCB have already won the IPL. The way they celebrated last night. There are on their way and the whole streets of Bengaluru is filled with RCB fans,” Rayudu quipped on Star Sports. He even went on to suggest that CSK should consider giving one of their trophies to RCB, jokingly implying that the team from Bengaluru deserved it.

Rayudu’s banter didn’t go unnoticed, as his former teammate Varun Aaron responded with a witty retort. “Just pure CSK. Just not able to digest the fact that they have lost,” Aaron remarked, adding to the light-hearted exchange between the two cricketers.

Meanwhile, RCB captain Faf Du Plessis dedicated his Man of the Match award to pacer Yash Dayal for his exceptional performance. Du Plessis praised Dayal’s bowling skills and commended his ability to adapt to the pitch conditions during the crucial moments of the game.

As the IPL 2024 playoffs draw near, the banter and camaraderie between players add an extra layer of excitement to the tournament, keeping fans entertained both on and off the field.
