The Hollywood Reporter has announced the highly anticipated return of its Emmy-nominated series, “Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter.” In partnership with AMC Networks, the second season of the show is set to premiere on May 24 at a new time of 10 p.m. PT/1 a.m. ET, exclusively on IFC and streaming on AMC+.
The new season will feature five episodes, each focusing on a different theme: Comedy Actress, Drama Actor, Comedy Actor, Drama Actress, and Stand-Up. Hosted by Emmy-nominated actor and comedian Yvonne Orji from “Insecure,” the series will delve deep into the urgent issues, creative methodologies, and behind-the-scenes narratives that define entertainment.
The lineup of talent for select episodes includes Quinta Brunson, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Ego Nwodim, Michelle Buteau, and Renee Elise Goldsberry for the Comedy Actress episode airing on May 24. For the Drama Actor episode on June 7, viewers can expect to see Jon Hamm, Nicholas Galitzine, Clive Owen, David Oyelowo, Matt Bomer, and Callum Turner.
The show has already garnered a Daytime Emmy nomination for best arts and popular culture program for its first season, which aired on SundanceTV. Filmed at The Georgian Room at The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica, “Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter” is executive produced by Elisabeth D.
