The American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) is gearing up for its LM2024 conference, which will be the highlight of the organization’s 20th-anniversary celebration. ACLM, known as the nation’s fastest-growing medical professional association, will bring together all nine past and present presidents for the conference’s opening session.
The conference will feature a lineup of keynote speakers and sessions covering a wide range of topics related to lifestyle medicine. Some of the key sessions include discussions on nutrition, happiness, health equity, and healthcare innovation. The conference will also include panel discussions on various aspects of lifestyle medicine, such as clinical interventions, education, and healthcare transformation.
In addition to the keynote sessions, the conference will offer concurrent sessions, an exhibitor pavilion, award presentations, and networking opportunities with medical professionals and industry leaders. Research Row will showcase over 150 published research abstracts, and attendees can also participate in pre- and post-conference workshops on various topics.
LM2024 will be available both in-person and online, with livestream and on-demand access to sessions, interactive networking opportunities, and bonus content. The conference aims to provide attendees with the latest research, implementation models, and advancements in the field of lifestyle medicine.
Dr. Meagan L. Grega, the 2024 Conference Chair, highlighted the importance of the conference in advancing the field of lifestyle medicine. She emphasized that the information provided at the conference has a significant impact on attendees’ clinical practice and organizational roles, as evidenced by a 96% satisfaction rate from last year’s attendees.
The in-person event will offer sessions in four tracks, focusing on different aspects of lifestyle medicine. Attendees can also participate in a variety of pre-conference and post-conference workshops, both in-person and virtually, to enhance their learning experience.
The conference will provide continuing education credits for attendees, with the opportunity to claim live CME credits for up to 60 days post-conference. Recordings of the sessions will be available to registrants for a full year.
Sponsors like Lore Health ACO are excited to be part of the conference and support the mission of ACLM in promoting lifestyle medicine. The conference is expected to draw a large crowd, with in-person registration closing on October 21 or when the maximum capacity is reached.
Overall, LM2024 promises to be an exceptional educational and networking opportunity for medical professionals interested in lifestyle medicine. With a diverse lineup of speakers and sessions, the conference aims to ignite progress in the field and set the stage for the next 20 years of lifestyle medicine.
