U.S. Soccer has taken a bold step into the world of virtual gaming with the launch of U.S. Soccer Tycoon on Roblox. This new platform aims to provide fans in the United States and around the world with a year-round engaging connection to the sport they love.
Part of FIFA World 2.0, U.S. Soccer Tycoon is a collaboration between U.S. Soccer, Roblox, and FIFA, with the German Football Association also joining as part of the revitalized FIFA World. The game will feature Roblox’s Tycoon Gameplay, challenging players to grow their assets, upgrade teams and stadiums, and progress through the game.
According to U.S. Soccer Vice President of Business Ventures Ross Moses, U.S. Soccer Tycoon is a reflection of the Federation’s strategy to reach new fans through emerging technologies. The game will provide young fans with an engaging and sustainable model to interact with soccer and the National Teams.
Players will be able to access U.S. Soccer Tycoon through a portal from FIFA World 2.0, with the game set in an urban, modern setting that promotes inclusivity and community. The environment will eventually feature landmarks from the 11 cities hosting FIFA World Cup matches in 2026, as well as visuals of the new Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center.
U.S. Soccer Product Manager Nicole Kusi emphasized the importance of connecting with younger audiences through gaming, stating that Roblox is a great platform to engage with fans as it encourages community, creativity, and most importantly, fun. With U.S. Soccer Tycoon, fans can now immerse themselves in the world of soccer like never before.
