Two American Tourists Assault Local Security Officer in Bali After Being Reprimanded for Loud Music

Two American tourists staying at a villa in Badung, Bali, went on a violent rampage after being reprimanded for playing loud music in the early hours of the morning. The incident, which took place on Jalan Raya Seminyak, Kuta, left a local security officer severely injured and hospitalized.

The tourists, identified as Aabed Attia, 27, and Zeyad Ahmad Attia, 30, were detained by the Kuta Police following the assault on the security officer, Made SD, 38. The victim had approached the villa after receiving complaints about the loud music disturbing the peace in the neighborhood.

According to Ketut Sukadi, the Public Relations Officer of Denpasar Regional Police, the security officer asked the tourists to lower the volume of the music as it was late at night and disturbing others. However, the tourists reacted aggressively, chasing and assaulting the officer with their bare hands and even using an iron rod to beat him.

The victim sustained injuries to his head, cheek, and thigh as a result of the assault and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. The Kuta Police were alerted to the incident and promptly arrested the two American perpetrators.

The investigation is ongoing, with the suspects currently being questioned by the authorities. The shocking incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many condemning the violent behavior of the tourists towards the local security officer.
