Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his son Abhishek Bachchan’s award-winning performance in the film “Yuva” as it marked its 20th anniversary on May 22. Amitabh took to social media to share a heartfelt post honoring Abhishek’s remarkable portrayal in the film.
In the post, Amitabh shared a throwback photo of himself and Abhishek from the award ceremony where Abhishek won the Stardust Award for Actor of the Year – Male for his role in “Yuva.” Amitabh recalled the emotional moment when Abhishek invited him on stage and presented the award to his father, expressing in Hindi that whatever belonged to him also belonged to his son.
Praising Abhishek’s performance, Amitabh described it as the best and expressed his pride and admiration for his son. Abhishek’s portrayal of Lallan Singh in the film remains one of his most celebrated roles, alongside prominent actors Ajay Devgn, Vivek Oberoi, and Rani Mukerji.
Looking ahead, Abhishek will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film, set to be released on November 15. The project, which was officially launched at a Prime Video event in Mumbai, promises to bring a smile to audiences’ faces with its heartwarming narrative about a father-daughter bond.
