An important message for first responders

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Attention all first responders! A groundbreaking webinar on HeartStart, a revolutionary cardiac and metabolic screening program, is set to take place on Wednesday, May 22, at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. CT / 1 p.m. PT. This program, developed by Sigma Tactical Wellness in partnership with Lexipol, aims to address the #1 killer of active and retired first responders – heart disease.

HeartStart provides an easy-to-use mobile or website platform for individuals to quickly and non-invasively identify the onset of heart disease before it leads to serious complications like heart attacks or strokes. The statistics are alarming – with the average age of a first responder experiencing their first heart attack being 46, compared to 65 for civilians. Of the over 14,000 officers tested for pre-clinical heart disease, a staggering 92% tested positive, with 24% of them being less than 40 years old.

During the webinar, attendees will learn about the importance of heart health for first responders, the risks of heart disease in this population, the significance of early detection, the benefits of HeartStart, and why choosing this program is crucial for maintaining optimal heart health.

The speakers for this webinar include Dr. David Black, Cassie Witt, and Dr. Benjamin Stone, all experts in the field of health and wellness for first responders. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and knowledge on how to protect your heart health as a first responder. Register now to secure your spot for this informative webinar!
