Anazia Akhalu Accuses Harassment and Picketing Charges

Reading Time: < 1 minute

A lone 26-year-old woman, Anazia Akhalu, has been making waves outside the San Vicente Bungalows in Hollywood. Dressed in extravagant evening wear, she has been picketing the property with a sign claiming, “I Have Been Sexually Harassed @ San Vincente Bungalows.”

The target of her accusation is Dimitri Dimitrov, the legendary 74-year-old maître d’ who has been a fixture in the Hollywood high life for decades. Akhalu, who worked at the front desk of SVB for five weeks last winter, accuses Dimitrov of inappropriate behavior, including “squeez[ing] on my waist and arm” and eyeing her “up and down.”

While Dimitrov and SVB owner Jeff Klein have declined to comment, a club spokesman stated that SVB takes all claims of harassment seriously and promotes an environment free from such conduct.

Some sources at the Bungalows have questioned why Akhalu waited several months before coming forward and noted that the club has a history of expelling staff and members when harassment charges are substantiated.

Akhalu has since filed a report with the police, expressing her fear of speaking out due to Klein’s influence in the industry. Despite her efforts, she feels silenced and unheard.

This story sheds light on the complexities of addressing harassment in the entertainment industry and the challenges faced by individuals who speak out against powerful figures.
